This is the photo I picked for my "great" piece of architecture. The building is The Pinnacles interpretive center located in the Pinnacle Desert, WA. The building was designed by Woodhead Architects, Perth. What I find interesting about this building is the way they burnt the exterior pergola during construction to create a scorched effect that "highlights the
relationship between fire, the land and its inhabitants"
